National Conference
(Livestream option available)
Our largest annual event brings together hundreds of educators and clergy to inspire and equip this growing community to reclaim the Church’s full vision of education and to bring it to life in their classrooms.
The Spirit & Craft of Teaching
Our most hands-on, sequential program immerses teachers in the theory and practice of classical liberal arts pedagogy. The 5-day course is designed for both new and veteran teachers who are unfamiliar with Catholic liberal arts education. Participants will explore and practice seven pedagogical principles that can be integrated across the curriculum for any subject and any grade level.
Academic Retreats
ICLE’s Academic Retreats are a practical and formative experience of one of the key elements of a liberal arts education: the art and practice of seminar discussion.
Led by master teachers, these small-group discussions guide Catholic educators to ponder the depth and breadth of a curriculum alive with Catholic wisdom, and to experience the joy of a vibrant Catholic learning community.
School Spotlight – Spring & Fall
Hosted at an ICLE flagship school, registrants observe classes, speak with faculty, and participate in seminars and workshops on various aspects of running a Catholic classical liberal arts school with special emphasis on curriculum and pedagogy.
High School Spotlight
Hosted at an ICLE flagship high school, registrants observe classes, speak with faculty, and participate in seminars and workshops on various aspects of running a Catholic classical liberal arts high school with special emphasis on curriculum and pedagogy.
Symposium for Priests on the Renewal of Catholic Education
This gathering offers inspiration, vision, and practical tools to engage with principals, teachers, and parents to foster vibrant communities of faith and learning. The topics covered are chosen in response to input from priests.
