National Conference

(Livestream option available)

Our largest annual event brings together hundreds of educators and clergy to inspire and equip this growing community to reclaim the Church’s full vision of education and to bring it to life in their classrooms.

The Spirit & Craft of Teaching

Our most hands-on, sequential program immerses teachers in the theory and practice of classical liberal arts pedagogy. The 5-day course is designed for both new and veteran teachers who are unfamiliar with Catholic liberal arts education. Participants will explore and practice seven pedagogical principles that can be integrated across the curriculum for any subject and any grade level.

Academic Retreat for Teachers

The Academic Retreat for Teachers gives teachers, administrators, and board members a chance to rekindle their passion for learning while exploring the foundations of Catholic education with colleagues from around the country. The Institute’s Director of Advanced Formation, Dr. Andrew Seeley, will lead the Retreat. Dr. Seeley has over three decades of experience in leading engaging discussions.

School Leaders Academy

This 10-month executive coaching program supports Catholic school leaders who are in the process of renewing their schools. The 15 participants in the online cohort will benefit from the personal mentorship of two veteran Catholic educators with over five decades of combined experience with the Church’s vision of liberal arts education. Since a significant benefit of the program is the experience and commitment of the cohort itself, participants in the School Leaders Academy will be selected through an application process.

Aspiring School Leaders Program

This 6-month, online school leader training program aims to prepare classroom teachers to move into school leadership positions in Catholic liberal arts schools. The need for leaders in this spreading renewal is growing quickly. In response to frequent requests, the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education has developed this effort, led by Mr. Danny Flynn, principal of St. Jerome Academy in Hyattsville, MD, who also serves as an ICLE Faculty Consultant.
