We are thrilled to announce a spirited conclusion to this summer’s Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) National Conference July 14-17, 2026 in Columbus, OH. Following our closing banquet on the final night, two members of The Hillbilly Thomists will take the stage for a live performance!
A band of friars from the Order of Preachers (Dominicans), The Hillbilly Thomists blend world-class bluegrass with the depth of the Thomistic tradition. From their debut in 2017 to their latest 2024 album, Marigold, the friars have consistently topped the Billboard charts and toured the country—including a stop at the Grand Ole Opry — all while maintaining their life of contemplation and study.
Their music echoes the belief of St. Thomas Aquinas that God’s invisible grace is at work in visible things. By joining us for this performance, you are also supporting the Dominican mission; proceeds from their music benefit the formation of friars at the Dominican House of Studies.
