ICLE’s 2026 National Conference

Attendee Information

JULY 14-17, 2026

We are grateful you are joining us for our 14th Annual ICLE National Conference. Among the most mission-driven superintendents, principals, and teachers in Catholic education today, our attendees are seeking to renew their dioceses and schools by stepping away from the secular model of education and reclaiming the Church’s proven tradition in the liberal arts and sciences, preK-12.

Theme

In Scripture, light not only depicts God’s presence and transforming power; it also illuminates knowledge and witnesses to the Truth. God’s people are called to be a light to the nations.

C.S. Lewis noted that knowledge comes not simply by looking at things from the outside in an analytical fashion, such as studying a sunbeam in a dark room; we must also look along the shaft of light—stepping into its path and seeing what else it illuminates. The renewal of Catholic education is not only a venture of studying about the Church’s intellectual tradition, but stepping into it and seeing what—and, more importantly, Who—it reveals from the inside.

St. Catherine of Siena said that, “the task of the educator is to bring the soul from the shadows of ignorance into the light of truth.” Inspired by this calling and the compelling scene depicted in Caravaggio’s The Calling of Saint Matthew, we will explore how Catholic liberal education moves our hearts, minds, and world toward “Stepping into the Light,” at Christ’s invitation to, “Follow me” (Matthew 9:9).

Conference App

For the convenience of our conference guests, we are happy to offer the use of our conference app, provided by Whova. Face-to-face interactions – incarnational interactions – are central to ICLE’s very mission, so we hope that the app will enable you to participate and interact actively, building important and lasting connections. We envision the conference app as an additional avenue for our guests to view the conference program (with real-time updates), add sessions to your personal calendar, build connections with other conference participants before, during, and after the conference, network with our premier partners in the vendor hall, and more!

Please note that use of the conference app is completely optional; ICLE will always ensure that conference participants without the app have access to everything they need to make the most of their conference experience.

Liturgical and Sacramental Opportunities

Holy Mass will be celebrated each day of the conference at St. Joseph Cathedral. Adoration and confession will also be available.

Please join us for Morning Prayer each morning of the conference
