The Spirit & Craft of Teaching in the Catholic Liberal Arts Tradition

This intensive training program introduces teachers to the understanding and practice of classical liberal arts pedagogy. The program is designed for both new and experienced teachers who are unfamiliar with Catholic liberal arts education. This year’s program will be led by Elisabeth Sullivan, Executive Director of ICLE, Rosemary Vander Weele, Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Classical School in Denver, CO, and Sr. Mary Anne Zuberbueler, O.P., former Dean of the School of Education at Aquinas College.

Space is limited to 30 total participants and has sold out the last two years.

Registration rates:

– Member: $1300
– Non-Member: $1400

Please note that  cancellations received at least 60 days in advance of the event will be honored with a full refund. Cancellations received at least 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 30 days in advance will receive no refund.

Registration includes all program sessions and materials, meals, and housing.

Registration will be open from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon and the program begins with Holy Mass at 5:15 p.m. The program will conclude by 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. 

PLEASE NOTE: Housing accommodations are very basic college dorm rooms at CUA. They are clean but not luxurious. For those who desire more comfort, nearby hotel options with possible conference discounts will be announced ASAP, though it should be noted that the nearest hotels are not in walking distance.
