Principal – Cassata Catholic High School – Fort Worth, TX 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Cassata Catholic High School in Fort Worth, TX is currently seeking a Principal for the 2018-2019 school year. Applicant must be a committed Catholic with broad knowledge regarding the teachings of the Catholic Church. Applicant must also be academically oriented with a philosophical understanding of the role that academics serve in a Catholic school. The primary responsibilities of the Principal will include supervision of classroom instruction, curriculum, and assessment with additional responsibilities in all administrative matters of the school as needed. A Doctorate Degree is preferred. The preferred candidate will have a proven record of academic merit. A minimum of three years of teaching experience is required. QUALIFICATIONS

Religion:
– Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to ongoing formation in catechetical and spiritual leadership development

Education:
– Master’s degree in Administration or
– Master’s degree plus 18 hours in educational administration and supervision courses or a valid, appropriate state certificate for a principal or the successful completion of an appropriate state certification examination, as outlined in the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department standards

Experience:
– 3 years of teaching experience in a Catholic school
– 3 years of administrative experience in a Catholic school
