The Atonement Academy is seeking a full-time 6th Grade teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. The successful candidate would serve as the primary 6th
grade classroom teacher responsible for teaching a core classical liberal arts curriculum in math (pre-algebra), language arts (grammar, writing, reading), science, history and religion, and supported by specials teachers in choir, Latin and PE.
Candidates should be experienced teaching at the elementary or middle school levels, and be committed to
Catholic classical education.
Responsibilities and Duties
1.) Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate instruction across the curriculum
2.) Hold office hours to meet with students in need of assistance outside of class
3.) Communicate with parents, counselors, administration, and students
4.) Participation in professional development activities sponsored by school and other professional
development activities as required
5.) Fulfillment of school duties as assigned
6.) Regular attendance at faculty meetings
