Holy Family Cathedral School is a Catholic PK -8 school that was founded by St. Katherine Drexel 120 years ago. The school has a rich tradition and has begun a transformation to a Catholic classical school. The school begins with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and continues with Montessori techniques interwoven into the larger curriculum.

The principal of Holy Family Cathedral School is a minister of Holy Family Cathedral and of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma.


A devoted Catholic whose faith animates his or her spiritual, professional and personal lives and whose intellect, passions and will are ordered to the common good.
A passionate commitment to classical education that embraces the good, the true and the beautiful, and a love of these things for their own sake, because we are seeking the truth which leads to happiness.
Must possess a knowledge of classical curriculum and pedagogy that also provides the leisure for faculty and students to develop a sense of wonder while engaging in their daily work.
Be a principal who leads by example especially as the head of a community of life-long learners and offers opportunities for the faculty and parents, as the primary educators, to grow as adult learners.
The principal must efficiently manage evaluations, budgets, fundraising, academic schedules, building restoration and extra-curricular activities.
A principal who can communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff and parents and work collaboratively with the pastor of Holy Family Cathedral, the Superintendent of Catholic Schools, and the Alcuin Institute for Catholic Culture is essential.
A Master’s degree in an academic discipline with teaching and administrative experience is preferred.
