English IV Grade 12 Literature, Pre Romantics to present
Emphasis is on the classical works that have withstood the test of time and serve to form logical thinkers in the pursuit of the true, the good and the beautiful. Both courses serve to develop rhetorical skills for articulating clear thinking while stressing strong grammar and vocabulary.
The candidate must be a Catholic who embraces the teachings of the Church and considers it an honor to take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
An appreciation for the classical approach to education is a must. The candidate must possess a desire to form young people in sound character and have a zeal for souls. Experience is desired but not required. A minimum of an undergraduate degree is expected.
