The candidate should hold an undergraduate or graduate degree and be able to teach English grammar along with American, British and classical literature. Candidates should have a passion for liberal arts education as well as a desire to form young men in women in the Catholic faith. The ability to teach Latin is a plus.

Under the supervision of the principal, the teacher:
• Assumes responsibility for the leadership and management of the assigned classes
• Develops and implements lesson plans according to the needs of the students and curriculum of the school
• Maintains detailed and accurate records 
• Establishes positive school-community relationships
• Performs any other job-related tasks deemed necessary and/or assigned by the principal


Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be a practicing Catholic willing to make a public Profession of Faith
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be certified or willing to work for certification
• Receive VIRTUS training and pass a background check with fingerprinting
