Divine Mercy Academy is a new independent liberal arts day school in the Catholic tradition for children in Pre-K through Eighth Grade. We are currently seeking candidates for full and part-time teaching positions in all grades for the Humanities, Math and Science.

Teachers will fulfill the mission of the Divine Mercy Academy by planning, guiding,and evaluating the learning process of the students in the Catholic school for whom the teacher is responsible within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. 
Teachers will provide the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth toward a successful future.


The ideal candidate should:
-Be a practicing and joyful Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church
-Be knowledgeable about a classical curriculum and a liberal arts education
-Have experience as an educator, ideally in a Catholic school setting (minimum of 4 years teaching is required).
-Be collegial and collaborative. 
-Be able to identify and work towards a common goal.
-Possess superior written and oral communication skills.
-Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
-Have experience with Montessori Method and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Certification not required.
