Holy Spirit College invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Theology at the rank of Fellow (Assistant Professor equivalent), to begin in Fall 2019. Areas of expertise are open, but candidates should be competent to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The College has an institutional commitment to the methods and content of classical education, and we seek candidates who are eager to and knowledgeable about providing such instruction.
Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester along with summer teaching duties, advising graduate and undergraduate students, as well as participating in various projects around
institutional efforts including recruitment, accreditation, and other College events.
Holy Spirit College expects excellence in teaching, student faith formation, service, and research.
All faculty are expected to request the mandatum from the Archbishop upon hire. The faculty of Holy Spirit College are the primary representatives of the College and are expected to serve to
instantiate and maintain its Catholic identity.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and scholar, possessing teaching experience and holding a PhD or ThD in Theology or an appropriate, equivalent degree.
